Set in the pretty village of Ardentinny near to the shores of Loch Long, this detached, single-storey holiday home is in an ideal location for exploring the Cowal Peninsula. The town of Dunoon is within easy reach and has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is a wide variety of outdoor activities on offer with sailing, sea fishing, windsurfing, fast speed RIB boat tours, quad bikes, clay shooting and more. The magnificent Benmore Botanic Gardens are well worth a visit and there are plenty of woodland paths available for walking and cycling. Excursions on the famous paddle steamer ’Waverley’ are available direct from Dunoon pier up to 5 days each week during the season, and are highly recommended. The whole area is steeped in history and boasts an abundance of wildlife with deer, otters, golden eagles, red squirrels and dolphins often seen. Based in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park there are plenty of great days out for all ages! Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

This cottage was absolutely a home from home, everything one needs to make for a comfortable holiday. The cottage was well located with stunning walks on the door step. It’s very peaceful, unfortunately we missed the opportunity to use the nearby restaurant as they were closed the week we were there, fingers crossed we can do this next time as food looked amazing. .The owners were so lovely and very helpful and we will definitely return to this hidden gem.

Perfect location,only two minutes walk to the side of Loch Long.Comfortable,very clean,lovely and warm,all facillities.So quiet,little through traffic.Good garden,secure for your dog,with interesting shrubs.Ardentinny is an ideal location for seeing this lovely part of Argyll.

A comfortable, clean and warm cottage, a great enclosed pretty garden, helpful off road parking in a beautiful area with lovely walks and a superb local pub.Thank you
