This comfortable apartment offers a peaceful and relaxing setting, ideal for couples or solo travellers and a dog, looking to unwind amidst stunning coastal scenery. The apartment features a living room which opens out onto an enclosed balcony, where you can sit back and enjoy your morning coffee while watching the gentle ripples on the loch. There is a well-equipped kitchen/dining area, both offering spectacular views of the loch. The bedroom is cosy with lots of storage, providing a restful space to recharge after a day of exploration. The shower room is located on the first floor, ensuring comfort and convenience.
The location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Right opposite the apartment, perfect for kayaking, wild swimming, paddle boarding, sailing and walking along the scenic lochside trails. Lovely walks for dog and owners alike. Tayvallich itself is a charming village with a welcoming atmosphere. The local pub and seafood café are popular with visitors and locals, serving fresh produce and delicious meals.
A short drive away, you can visit the historic Kilmory Chapel and its ancient carved stones, or explore the beautiful Knapdale Forest, home to Scotland’s reintroduced beaver population. The nearby Crinan Canal, often called "Britain’s most beautiful shortcut," offers a lovely walking and cycling route with stunning views of the surrounding hills and waterways. There are ferries to take you over to the Isles of Jura, Ghia or Arran and the towns to visit whilst there include Campbeltown with their award-winning golf courses and their white beaches, Oban, the seafood capital of Scotland and Inveraray where the castle is still inhabited and is open to visitors in the peak season. In the summer months there is a Regatta, a gala Day and in April there is a Kayaking Simposian which everyone is welcome to join in. The apartment was spotlesly clean, very comfortable and set in a beautiful location. The view from the decking was stunning, overlooking the village of Tayvallich. We would recommend this apartment to anyone, we can't wait to return.
