Situated right in the heart of Kilmartin Glen, steeped in history and surrounded by beautiful scenery, these delightful holiday properties, situated within the owners’ grounds, are ideally situated for touring Argyll. Kilmartin village is rich in archaeological and historical remains of Neolithic and early Bronze Age monuments. Visit standing stones, burial cairns, castles and famous gardens. Explore the Mull of Kintyre and Islay or catch the passenger ferry from Tayvallich to the island of Jura (summer only) and sail from Oban to Mull and Iona. Cycling, fishing, sailing and golf are close by or enjoy leisurely walks along the banks of the Crinan Canal. The small town of Lochgilphead is 8 miles south and the bustling town of Oban is 30 miles north. The Stable (31240) is semi-detached and The Bullock Shed (31241) is detached, and both properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 1/2 miles.

An excellent property in a beautiful location.The owner was very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t find any shops within a mile but the journey to Lochgilped is an easy one with enough shops to keep us supplied.We got plenty of exersize with lots of lovely walks with plenty of wildlife and historical sites to visit.The only very slight negative were some of the kitchen utensils needed replacing otherwise fine.

Lovely cottage, friendly helpful owners.Could have done with instructions for tv, 3 handsets!! Maybe that was just me.!Would definitely go again.

Idyllic, for both humans and doggies. The owner, Sandy, made us feel so welcome, and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was extremely well kitted out, so we couldn’t have asked for more. It felt like a home away from home… but better. It was also great value for money. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful time away.
