Enjoying a peaceful setting, this detached, single-storey holiday cottage makes an ideal base from which to explore this glorious area of the west coast of Scotland. Close to the pretty village of Benderloch and the sandy beach at Tralee Bay, there are plenty of attractions including the Sea Life Centre, Castle Stalker, Bonawe Iron Works and Cruachan Hollow Mountain. There is superb walking and climbing with miles of forestry tracks and cycle ways to discover. The Hebridean islands of Mull, Lismore, Staffa and Iona are easily reached and offer wonderful scenery and wildlife. The nearby harbour town of Oban offers a full range of shops, excellent restaurants, leisure centre and a cinema.

A fantastic cottage in a stunning location. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need for self catering and very comfortable lounge area with plenty of room and yet cosy and snug. Bedrooms are both a good size with great beds - including electric blankets. The garden is secure for dogs and large enough for them to explore. Oban is 15 mins away by car across the Connell Bridge and there are many Islands to visit including Mull, Kerera and Lismore. The combination of majestic mountains and coastal splendour is unbeatable. The beach at Tralee is only 10 min walk away with great views across to Oban and Kerera whilst 20 mins in the other direction brings you to the shores of Loch Creran. The owner came to see us on the first day to check if everything was ok and it was lovely to meet her. We also had a perfect week weather wise - a bit chilly for May but dry and sunny - perfect for exploring the area.

Lovely cottage. Perfect for dog walks in local woods and the beach. Secure garden; ideal for pets.The cottage is equipped with all you could need. it was clean, comfortable and warm.Quick access to local roads making it easy to plan days out.A pleasure to meet the owner who is very charming!

Had a lovely week the cottage is spotless. It was nice to get a visit from owner to see everything was ok. Has a lovely big enclosed garden for dog lots of nice walks from the cottage. Would definitely book again.
