Wunderbares groses Ferienhaus mit herausragendem Blick auf Loch Etive. Sehr gut ausgestattet, das Beste ist der Blick. Mehrmals kommt Rotwild in den Garten zu Besuch. Man muss allerdings bedenken, dass man 25 Min zum nächsten Laden braucht. Es ist nur etwas für Menschen, die die Ruhe und Einsamkeit schätzen.Leider hatte die Agentur vergessen, uns den Code für das Schloss am Grundstück zu geben, wir hatten nur den Code für die Haustür, so mussten wir 3 Tage über den Zaun klettern, da Feiertag war und wir niemanden erreichen konnten.

We had a wonderful family holiday at the Ferry House. The property was warm and spotlessly clean on our arrival. The beds were comfortable and we particularly loved the all round views of the scenery and wildlife directly from the house. There was adequate parking for 2 cars although it was a little tricky to turn around on the drive. There was plenty of walking directly from the house although the nearest shop was 25 minutes drive so it was important not to forget anything! A beautiful place to visit and we would certainly like to return.

Ferry House is located in a stunning place, with amazing views over Loch Etive. The house itself is very modern and techie. There are instruction leaflets in a folder that give good instructions on how things work. The strip lights under the units in the kitchen don't work. The tap in the bath is far too long and dangerous, I caught my leg on it when having a shower which shouldn't happen. The heating needs sorting, it was far too hot in the house at times and we had to reset the temperature on a daily basis.Cleanliness wasn't good, there were crumbs in the cutlery draw that had been there for sometime. The large glass doors that could be opened fully onto the decking were dirty with hand marks, all the silver trimmings throughout the house that are on the floor against the walls are not glued down sufficiently and there are marks on the walls where glue has discoloured the walls.Ferry House is lovely and there is attention to detail with almost everything supplied for an enjoyable holiday. We would like to book again just for the views and the wildlife.
