Located on the north side of Dollar Lodge Park with stunning, ever changing views over a neighbouring farm and the town of Dollar towards Castle Campbell and the Ochil Hills. This gorgeous holiday home will provide guests with a great home away from home to either enjoy a peaceful break with walks along the River Devon and relaxing on the back deck, or basing yourselves for an action packed trip enjoying the attractions of nearby Stirling, Falkirk, activities throughout Fife and Perthshire. This is definitely one of those ideal locations due to the central position and excellent road network allowing travel by car to both Edinburgh and Glasgow within an hour.
The lodge is ideal for either a family or two couples. There are two bedrooms, one fitted as a small twin and the larger room with kingsize bed and en-suite toilet. The main living space is positioned to enjoy that stunning view and with French doors that open to a decking area for those sunny days, it’s ideal for enjoying the breeze or even just watching the colours change. The dining space and kitchen are open to the living room, ideal for those yummy meals either before or after a day out, or enjoying something that perhaps will have been delivered from one of the local takeaway restaurants. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare and enjoy your meals. The main shower room completes the property and has a larger shower base providing a taste of luxury. The presentation is modern and tasteful, the owners have created an environment where a laid back quality of life can be enjoyed at the forefront of their thoughts and intentions.
The small town, or large village of Dollar is a charming and pretty place in the ’Wee County’ of Clackmannanshire. Nearby the city of Stirling is home to the castle and National Wallace Monument. Both provide a superb day out, and the view from both out towards the Trossachs and Loch Lomond is frankly one of the most beautiful in the country. Golfers will enjoy tours of the local courses and some a little further afield. Gleneagles is surprisingly nearby and the resort boasts a number of additional attractions, activities and restaurants. Take a day trip to St Andrews on the East Coast and stop off on some of the small towns and villages along the way. This is where you’re guaranteed to stumble across a few hidden treasures of either shops or eateries that let you experience proper Scotland.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Dollar Lodge. The lodge was absolutely stunning, pristine with loads of lovely extras! When we arrived there was bread, milk, jam, marmalade, cereal and biscuits which I thought was such a lovely touch! TV with all apps and great WiFi too! The lodge was so clean. Little things like Baylis & Harding hand soap, loads of cleaning products, and even a washing machine! Presentation throughout was stunning. Great oven, microwave, kettle & toaster! The beds were SO comfy and the bedding used is really top quality. The shower was amazing really hot and powerful. Easy to work heating which was needed at this time of year! But finally the VIEW. Waking up to the stunning views every morning was breathtaking. Dollar is a wonderful area with loads of stunning walks. We visited near by areas also and there is plenty to do. I would highly recommend staying here. We would definitely return. Do not have a bad word to say about it other than having to drive home!!

We hebben een geweldige week gehad in deze accomodatie. De accomodatie heeft een super mooie keuken waar je heerlijk kunt koken, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De bedden en de prachtige bank is comfortabel. Het ligt in een super mooie rustige omgeving naast het dorp Dollar. In het dorp js een supermarkt. Edinburgh en Glasgow zijn allebei goed te bereiken met de auto en beide op nog geen uur rijden. We hebben het enorm naar ons zin gehad! Aanrader!
