Dornock Brow Cottage is consistently praised for its peacefulness, cleanliness, and stunning views over the Solway. The property is ideal for both family gatherings and quiet retreats, with a secure garden for dogs and plenty of local attractions to explore.
Guests have described the cottage as 'super clean', 'very clean', and well-maintained, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
The location is highly regarded for its brilliant views and tranquillity, making it a perfect getaway. Proximity to local attractions like Annan cinema and the Devils Porridge museum adds to its appeal.
The cottage is noted for its comfortable beds and cosy atmosphere. However, one guest suggested an upgrade for the pillows, which indicates a slight room for improvement in this area.
The property is well-appointed with a large kitchen and everything needed for cooking and dining. One guest mentioned the lack of a casserole dish, suggesting that while facilities are generally excellent, there is a minor opportunity for enhancement.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or additional thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess this category.
