There is an observatory Zog Activity Trail and lots of land-based activities on offer here as well. If you are interested in Scottish History Gilnockie Tower is close by and is a stunning example of a Pele Tower over 500 years old now a Clan Visitor Centre originally home to a notorious Border Reivers family. Other attractions worth visiting include Hadrians Wall Carlisle Castle and Tullie House Museum and Kielder Dark sky Observatory events and talks Aurora night.
