Inside The Wee Granite Hoose has been refurbished and is beautifully furnished and decorated throughout. The spacious living room/dining room with its comfortable sofas and cosy wood burner is the perfect place to sit and relax reminiscing over your day’s activities. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor and from here there is direct access to the private and enclosed garden to the rear. The small and charming town of Dalbeattie is an area hugely popular with walkers and cyclists of all ages. The world famous 7Stanes mountain trails at Dalbeattie Forest, offer some of the best mountain biking in the country and attracts riders from across the UK and beyond. With its dramatic clifftops, sandy beaches and forests, walking is a delight with many beautiful walks from the doorstep. This delightful corner of South West Scotland will tempt all ages to return. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, there are many beautiful gardens to visit, including Threave Gardens National Trust There are historical sites and castles to explore. Enjoy a drive from Dalbeattie along the Solway Coast with its extensive sandy beaches, rocky coves, traditional fishing villages and harbour ports, such as Kippford and Rockcliffe. Castle Douglas is close by, where you will find larger supermarkets and some wonderful unique shops, and Kirkcudbright just a little further afield, also has a variety of delightful little shops as well as the harbour where you can see the fishing boats returning.
