Set overlooking the park this is a lovely little cottage beautifully furnished - a real home from home.. Ground Floor:

Living/dining room: With wood burner and Freeview TV.
Kitchen: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and washing machine.. First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle and toilet.. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included; remainder available locally. Welcome pack.. Enclosed lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking.. The Wee Granite Hoose is a delightful terraced cottage in Dalbeattie overlooking the Park. It is is an attractive terraced cottage built from granite which the town once thrived on and was extracted from local Quarries. Inside The Wee Granite Hoose has been refurbished and is beautifully furnished and decorated throughout. The spacious living room/dining room with its comfortable sofas and cosy wood burner is the perfect place to sit and relax reminiscing over your day’s activities. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor and from here there is direct access to the private and enclosed garden to the rear. With comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom The Wee Granite Hoose is certainly a treat.
The small and charming town of Dalbeattie is an area hugely popular with walkers and cyclists of all ages. The world famous 7Stanes mountain trails at Dalbeattie Forest, offer some of the best mountain biking in the country and attracts riders from across the UK and beyond. With its dramatic clifftops, sandy beaches and forests, walking is a delight with many beautiful walks from the doorstep. This delightful corner of South West Scotland will tempt all ages to return. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, there are many beautiful gardens to visit, including Threave Gardens National Trust There are historical sites and castles to explore. Enjoy a drive from Dalbeattie along the Solway Coast with its extensive sandy beaches, rocky coves, traditional fishing villages and harbour ports, such as Kippford and Rockcliffe. Castle Douglas is close by, where you will find larger supermarkets and some wonderful unique shops, and Kirkcudbright just a little further afield, also has a variety of delightful little shops as well as the harbour where you can see the fishing boats returning.
