With sailing, swimming, riding, fishing, golf, boat trips and water sports close by, there is sure to be something for everyone. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, there are many beautiful gardens to visit including the National Trust’s Threave Garden. Close to the Galloway Forest Park and central to five of the 7Stanes mountain bike trails, it is a popular location for cyclists and mountain bikers.
