This delightful detached cottage is set in a rural location yet only 3 miles from the quiet town of Moffat. The popular town of Moffat is famed for its woollen mills, toffee shop, flower displays in the town and the park with its boating lake. Situated near the gentle slopes, hills and lochs of Eskdale and Annandale which provide walks on the Southern Upland Way. Places of interest include The Devil’s Beef Tub and Grey Mare’s Tail waterfall, fishing, golf and many other amenities are close by. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Elaine was the perfect host. The cottage is in an excellent area to explore. The cottage was super clean and well equipped. The garden is excellent for dogs, being fenced in. Eggs for sale at main gate. highly recommend. We stayed a week but could have stayed longer ♡♡♡♡

We found a very clean and comfortable "bothy" in a location close enough to main roads and shops, though remote enough for very quiet surroundings. The most "noise" came from sheep and crows.
