Guests say

Culquhasen offers a peaceful and secluded farmhouse retreat with stunning views over fields to the sea, perfect for those seeking relaxation and tranquillity. Guests praise the comfortable beds, spacious garden, and well-equipped kitchen, with the hot tub and farmhouse charm being particular highlights. The property is dog-friendly and ideal for families, with a welcoming host. While some minor maintenance issues and the remote location are noted, the overall experience is highly positive, making it a memorable countryside getaway.

Most guests found the cottage very clean and comfortable, though one review mentioned a nearly full outside bin and a non-working fly zapper. Overall, cleanliness is consistently praised.

The secluded, peaceful setting is a major highlight, offering beautiful views and tranquillity. However, its remote location and distance from activities may not suit everyone, especially families with dogs.

Guests frequently mention the exceptionally comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and relaxing atmosphere, contributing to restful stays and high comfort levels.

The property is well-equipped with modern appliances, a hot tub, and ample towels. Some minor maintenance issues (e.g., loose door handles, bathroom mirror, missing board game parts) were noted but did not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Several guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack and dog treats, though these are not guaranteed for all stays. The host is described as friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
