Just returned from a 4 night break . The bothy is fantastic and has been refurbished to a high standard throughout . Everything you would need . King size bed was super comfortable . We loved chilling out in front of the large wood burner ! The hosts John and Lulu were super friendly . Milk in the fridge when we arrived and Lulu provided some farm eggs and cake ! Nice walks nearby and plenty of history in the area . We had a nice meal at the Steam Packet in Isle of Whithorn . All in All full marks and would hope to return again .

Fabulously finished and beautifully appointed the Bothy is as lovely as the welcome from John and Lulu! It’s a real haven in a wonderful area - superb for walking, cycling and a bit of golf and a great base for the wider area - I will be back!

A diamond of a location, set in a lovely part of south western Scotland on a peninsula. Better still on a working farm which John & Lulu are more than happy for you to get a guided tour or just wonder around SAFELY. The area has loads of interesting places, a nearby distillery, coast with lovely towns and villages to wonder around. Especially WIGTOWN the book town. With a second apartment in construction will definitely keep an eye on it.Best RegardsTom n Linda
