With excellent views of the beautiful estuary and surrounding bay, the cottage offers a wonderful experience to all those who enjoy and appreciate a cosy countryside retreat. The location could not be better; close to the UK’s largest forest park which offers a myriad of activities from walking and climbing to fishing and wildlife watching and of course the world renowned 7Stanes mountain biking experience.

A lovely holiday home in an ideal location for discovering all what Galloway has to offer. The views over the river Cree from the cottage are a great attraction with binoculars provided for more pin point viewing and for getting close-ups of the wandering kites that frequent the area. Jan our host presented us with some "Srathmaddie Eggs" which were excellent.Good facilities at Newton Stewart for essentials and easy parking.A very pleasant week. Thank You.

A fantastic cottage with stunning views.clean, comfortable and well equiped with a great garden for dogs and children.A peaceful slice of Scotland 5 minutes from the main road. Plenty of walks within 5 minutes and the supermarkets are only 10 minutes away in Newton Stewart
