We were worried about the building work as we knew it should have been completed but it really didn't affect us. The builders are lovely and appreciate a cuppa! There was no radio blaring or shouting. When sat inside without the TV or radio on you couldn't see or hear the work going on, so it doesn't affect the stunning views. The only time you might hear it would be if you were sunbathing in the Scottish sunshine on the front lawn! There are lots of places you can go and sit around the property grounds so easy to get peace and quiet if you want to sit outside. We shall be back for a third time as we love it! The wildlife is amazing and lots of walks and cycling from the door. The cottage is very spacious, we took my mum, step dad and aunt along too this time and I think they will be coming back with us as they loved it as much as we do! Corrafeckloch is a very special place.

The external photos of the house that were listed up to this date are not an accurate representation. There is an extension being built on the barn that approximately doubles its footprint and extends significantly in front of the house. There are builders on site Monday to Friday, using power tools, and there are materials and amenities associated with a building site (skip, portaloo, etc.). There were two deliveries of building supplies during our week long stay. Otherwise, the house itself is as shown and is comfortable and well appointed. The grounds are extensive and offer pleasant trails for wandering. There is an abundance of wildlife when it is quiet outside. If the listing photos do not show the new building alongside and in front of the original house, you can look at our Google review for pictures.

The cottage is beautifully appointed and has everything you could need. So peaceful and relaxing with the opportunity to see red squirrels and pine martens right outside the door. Lots of walks and stunning scenery. We would highly recommend this cottage and hope to be back.
