Situated quietly on a working farm and offering a luxurious getaway from the large open plan living/dining/kitchen featuring all modern appliances to the bedroom with sumptuous bed and luxury en-suite shower room. The area surrounding is breathtaking from the rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches and inland the Galloway Forest Park, Britian’s largest forest park with 300 square miles of wild beauty and where you will find the world renowned 7Stanes Mountain Bike Trail at Kirroughtree.
A short 5-minute drive from The Seaview Snug will take you to the Isle of Whithorn an attractive little harbour village where you can sail, fish or just sit and relax overlooking the bay while perhaps enjoying a meal or glass of wine in the pub or tea room. Visit Wigtown, which has officially been designated as Scotland’s National Book Town with a wide range of book related businesses, a book lovers haven. The larger town of Newton Stewart, known as the Gateway to the Galloway Hills, also has many excellent shops and places to eat. Further along the coast visit the many pretty little ports like Sandhead and Portpatrick, or visit Scotland’s most southerly point, the rspb Scotland Mull of Galloway Nature Reserve, where thousands of seabird’s nest in the cliff face during the spring and summer. Return to The Seaview Snug and relax in the hot tub where you can marvel at the dark starry skies. Beach 3 miles.

Had the most wonderful stay. Beautiful decor. Fluffy towels including some for the hot tub too. Lovely bedding. Welcome pack. Huge shower. Such peace and quiet. Listening to the birds which was the only sound around was bliss. Enjoyed sun sets from the hot tub. We will definitely return.

Well equipped wee place for a few days away. The cuddle seat in the listing had been swapped for a two-seater reclining sofa which was a good move. Found the bed a bit too soft but that's a personal preference. Heard the odd tractor and some farm animals (it's a working farm so totally expected) but apart from that it was so peaceful with the main source of noise the swallows sitting on the fence to have a sing. Bliss!

We had a lovely short stay at Seaview Snug and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The views are beautiful, and the location is truly idyllic – peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a getaway.The accommodation was very well presented, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the two-seater recliner sofa was a fantastic bonus, allowing us to sit back, relax, and watch TV in the evenings in complete comfort.The hot tub was lovely and well maintained, the shower was spacious with plenty of hot water, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay. Overall, Seaview Snug is a wonderful little spot, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
