A raised platform gives good views out over the river where otter are often seen.

Delightful stay at a wonderful location and with lovely owners too.Location may be a bit remote for some - but the surroundings, garden, birds and wildlife were fantastic.Cottage clean, comfortable, well equipped and with fabulous views across the garden and out through the kitchen where the ever present (and hungry) birdlife was a constant joy.

This is a fabulous cottage in a very quiet location . Little bit of a drive up a single track road but worth the effort. Cottage had everything you need. Lovely hosts with nothing too much trouble. Good location to visit many attractions. Nearest town, Newton Stewart has shops and petrol but lacks a little in places to eat, but you can get by.Would heartily recommend.
