Situated just yards from the sea and boasting stunning views over Luce Bay to the Mull of Galloway and the Isle of Man this semi-detached cottage, renovated to a good standard offers an ideal base from which to explore the breathtaking scenery of Dumfries and Galloway. Port William Inshore Rescue Service operate a coffee shop, restaurant and bar which has reduced opening hours during autumn and winter. There are a number of pubs and restaurants are located within 9 to 12 miles of the village.
The coastline offers many sandy bays and rocky coves to explore with sandy beaches at Monreith and Craignarget. Port William, known as the Machars of Galloway has been presented with the Pride of Galloway award. Walking, cycling, river and sea fishing and golf are all available nearby. Wigtown (Scotland Book Town), Whithorn and the Isle of Whithorn are all within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant 800 yards.
Initial fuel for woodburner included thereafter at cost. Central heating charge of 25 GBP per week between 1 October and 1 April.

Warm welcome from owner on day of arrival. Lovely welcome pack. Cottage very well equipped. Stone's throw from the sea. Fascinating watching the ever changing sea and the birds. Spectacular sunsets. All in all would not hesitate to go back or recommend. Delightful neighbour Annie who was very helpful and great to talk to!

The view from the cottage is lovely. It is a great place to watch the sea and it's ever changing mood. The cottage is very clean and comfortable.There are some lovely gardens to visit in the area. Thoroughly recommend Logan Botanic garden and its cafe.
