Follow the hallway to the end to discover a handy boot room where you can hang coats and store outdoor clothing, before heading upstairs to find the sitting room on the first floor. With a large corner sofa and a TV in here, you can relax into your evening, making use of the fabulous wine and drinks cooler in here too. From here, you can access the long garden, with a picnic bench and furniture for alfresco dining and a long lawned area for children and dogs to enjoy! Head back inside to find the family bathroom and two bedrooms, with a double room and a twin room to choose from, it's ideal for a small family or group of friends, or a couple. From Blue Sky Cottage you can discover the delights of Drummore on foot, walking down to the coastline in minutes to find a gorgeous sandy beach, which enjoys a milder climate thanks to the Gulf Stream and is even home to some varieties of palm tree overlooking the beach, creating an almost Mediterranean feel! Wander around the nearby attraction of Logan Botanic Garden, 'Scotland's Most Exotic Garden', to see a superb range of plant-life, great for plant enthusiasts or those who simply want to enjoy the serene setting. Take a walk down to Scotland's most southerly point at the Mull of Galloway Experience where 115 steps bring you to the top of the lighthouse, which commands stunning views of the surrounding cliffs and coastline. Wildlife enthusiasts should bring their binoculars and be on the lookout for peregrine falcons, kittiwakes, puffins and guillemots in this RSPB protected area too. Take a boat trip from Drummore Harbour to go sea fishing at Luce Bay, famed for being an excellent spot for a catch at sea; you can take in the gorgeous scenery from the water too. Spend a day exploring the port town of Stranraer with its main attraction being the Castle of St John, the ruins of a four-storey tower house built around 1500, as well as being home to a selection of shops and restaurants.
