Between the 2 lodges, Stag Lodge has the bigger garden which was perfect for the dogs and grandkids to run around in. A welcome pack with milk, biscuits, sweets etc was lovely and the dog pack is an excellent idea. I had the dog supplies packed but I wasn't stuck if I had forgotten something. It's easy to order food to be delivered or nip into the neighbouring towns. The only downside was having one toilet with 4 adults and 2 little kids, but we managed. The hot tub was fantastic and really helped put up with the rubbish weather. It's very quiet, comfortable and I'd highly recommend it. Continued success for Joe and the family.

What a beautiful spot with wonderful views i cannot fault the accommodation which was very clean with all the extras you could wish for. The dog loved the large garden to run in plus the treats left by the host.Would definitely recommend this lodge.

We had an amazing time at Stag Lodge and had everything we could have wanted. Nicky was so welcoming and helpful, made us feel right at home. The place was spotless and we loved all the small touches made. It was so well thought through for dogs as well, making us feel at ease and our dogs at ease as well. It’s a great location and the view is stunning.
