Our group of 4 + dog had a lovely stay at Crail House. It is comfortable very well equipped and in a great location. A problem with the shower was quickly resolved by the owners who were very kind and understanding when we didn’t leave when we should have due to a mix up on my part.,Crail is a lovely, historic, village with a butcher, a baker and yes, a candlestick maker (pottery) all on the doorstep as well as greengrocer, dog friendly pub with lovely meals, the delightful Harbour cafe and gallery (also dog friendly) and other cafes and shops of interest together with a small handy co op. We had a lovely time exploring the coastal villages, Fife Coastal path and St Andrews and a train trip from Leuchars to Edinburgh was very straightforward. It was great to see the area in early December light and look forward to a return trip to see the area in its spring or summer clothes.
