Aptly named ‘Making Waves’, this stunning property sits right on the sea shore in the pretty fishing port of Cellardyke on the east Fife coast. Enjoying a unique position and furnished and equipped to an excellent standard with Sky Sports, Wi-Fi and three good sized bedrooms, the property couldn’t be better placed for exploring the Fife coastline. The property has beautiful views towards May Island, Bass Rock and North Berwick Law from the kitchen, dining room and master bedroom. Outside the south facing garden looks right over the shore, the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and watch the fishing boats sailing by. A short stroll brings you to the neighbouring town of Anstruther, which has a good selection of shops, pubs and The Cellar Restaurant, holder of 3AA rosettes and UK seafood restaurant of the year. For the more energetic, the Fife Coastal Path runs for 150km nearby, and for cyclists, the Millennium Cycle Way has 300 miles of quiet country roads, disused railways and forest tracks to explore. Look out for boat trips to the Isle of May, a National Nature Reserve where you can spot puffins and seals. Boats leave from the port at Anstruther between April and September.

Great location and house was comfortable.Unfortunately there were a few things that let it down. The plates and other crockery are desperately needing upgraded. Chipped plates and bowls. Cutlery poor quality. The windows are so drafty so when the heating wasn't on, the place got really cold (especially at night)The beds are comfortable but the bed linen, duvets and pillows really poor quality. The raised wooden bar going into spare bedroom needs removed as serious trip hazard. The plug in air fresheners were so overpowering when first arrived had to turn them all off, the smell was awful.Place could benefit from some new carpets, a paint and mould removed from bathrooms. The sofas in room downstairs were so low and hellish uncomfortable.
