This property has a security deposit of £100.. This beautifully renovated cottage is part of a row of four terraced cottages. Dothan Farm Cottage is warm and welcoming, boosting of views from the back of the property overlooking the Falkland and Lomond hills along with open fields in the front. Great for couples or a family looking for a relaxing holiday or a base to explore the surrounding area.
Set all on one level, the bright and spacious lounge overlooks the open fields in front where there is a small open garden area for sitting and enjoying the sun. In the colder months, snuggle up with a cup of hot chocolate and a book in front of the lovely wood burner. The living room leads to the two comfy double bedrooms, shower room and the new modern kitchen.
The rear garden has a large patio area where you can enjoy the views over the fields and the Lomond Hills. It is set over three levels. The rear garden gives access to the shared parking area. The gardens are private but there are no dividing fences between the neighbours. Although access to the property is primarily gained from the rear where there are 23 steps leading up to the cottage, gaining access into the kitchen, you can also enter through the front door where there are no steps. There is a drop off area to the side of the property for those who may have difficulty with the steps.
There is parking for two cars at the rear of the property.
Set in a peaceful location, surrounded by fields and a working farm, Kirkcaldy town centre is just three miles away and close to road links. Ideally for visiting Fife’s stunning coastal Path, Loch Lomond and Edinburgh. If you’re looking for a bit more activity, Cluny Activity Centre is right on your doorstep. Beach 4 miles. Pub ¾ mile and shop 1¼ miles.

We loved our stay. Laura was very helpful. She made sure one of the bedrooms was set up for our boys to have twin beds. Everywhere was clean, the kitchen had all the essentials necessary. The information folder was very helpful especially the appliances manuals.Fab location for visiting places in the area. We were also visiting family in Glasgow, so about an hour travelling time.. We visited Falkland to see the Palace and gardens, Dundee and St Andrews. In Kirkcaldy you must go to Beveridge Park, lovely park with lots to do. Can recommend Duchess of Kirkcaldy if your looking for a meal out that's a 10 minute drive away. There is also an activities centre up the main road from the cottage into Cluny. We never got round to checking it out but it looked good.I thought the traffic noise on the surrounding main roads would bother us, but we didnt hear it with the windows shut at night, good quality double glazing! Would definitely stay here again, the views were lovely and the next door with the little dog was lovely too.

Cottage is very well equipped beds are comfortable. Spotlessly clean and very nice refurbished Kitchen and sitting room. The owner Laura was so helpful.Our only sleeping slight negative was the traffic noise from nearby main road which was noticeable at night. However we are both terrible sleepers so no doubt it wouldn't bother most people.
