Accessed by a farm track; The Barn has been renovated and refurbished to provide a cosy and welcoming home at all times of the year.
Adjacent to the owner’s home, The Barn has an immaculately presented living room with dining table, comfortable sofas and a wood burner for cooler evenings. There are two very attractively presented bedrooms, a kingsize bed and a twin with colour co-ordinated soft furnishings, a family bathroom and kitchen well-equipped to prepare a family meal. Guests have an enclosed private garden just across the lane where you can sit and relax and taking in the beautiful views. Depending on the season there many be lambs and calfs in the fields to admire, and local wild birds to see.
The pretty village of Fintry is only 3 miles with places to eat, coffee shop and local shop. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling in the Campsie Fells. For days out Loch Lomond National Park, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Doune Castle and Glengoyne distillery are all within driving distance.

Incredible warm welcome by all - including the dogs! It was a wonderful stay and we were able to explore the surrounding in every direction. We went to Glagow, Stirling, Loch Lomond and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed with a huge basket of food and lots of firewood - though the stove was already prepared already. We definitely come back if we are staying in the area

I only stayed for a weekend in between work commitments in the area but wish I had been able to stay longer. Lovely welcome pack, which I really hadn't expected as it was just me staying for two nights. Very well equipped. Friendly hosts. Lovely warm bathroom with underfloor heating; also washing machine and drying cupboard so I was able to wash and dry clothes swiftly.

Awesome little place with fab welcome basket. Local pub is friendly and does good food. Would happily come again. Plenty of room for car and storage for bikes.
