Accessed by a farm track; The Barn has been renovated and refurbished to provide a cosy and welcoming home at all times of the year.
Adjacent to the owner’s home, The Barn has an immaculately presented living room with dining table, comfortable sofas and a wood burner for cooler evenings. There are two very attractively presented bedrooms, a kingsize bed and a twin with colour co-ordinated soft furnishings, a family bathroom and kitchen well-equipped to prepare a family meal. Guests have an enclosed private garden just across the lane where you can sit and relax and taking in the beautiful views. Depending on the season there many be lambs and calfs in the fields to admire, and local wild birds to see.
The pretty village of Fintry is only 3 miles with places to eat, coffee shop and local shop. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling in the Campsie Fells. For days out Loch Lomond National Park, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Doune Castle and Glengoyne distillery are all within driving distance.

Theres only two, instructions for kitchen accessories , e.g cooker etcTo take extra care on stoney road to cottage especially if you have a low car.

Although situated in a working farm we had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay. Loved watching the ducks in the duck pond and wandering around the farmyard. Easy access to Loch Lomond and other places of interest eg. Meikle Bin, great views at the Trig Point. Property is well equipped for self catering needs. Welcome Pack from June much appreciated especially the home made scones. If back in this area would definitely book here again.

The Barn was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with spectacular views. It had all the facilities a couple or family would need and the log fire was a welcomed treat after a busy day exploring. All the family were welcoming and wouldn't hesitate to rebook. Thank you.
