Delightful cottage at the end of a quiet lane. Although the owners' house was close and there were occupied caravans nearby, it was perfectly peaceful and no sign of any other habitation from the large picture windows - just the birds to watch on the feeder. Every facility we could wish for was there, with the possible exception of a few hooks in the front porch to hang up wet coats (it rained!). A welcome bottle of bubbly and a cake was a nice surprise. Shops nearby in Acharacle. We would recommend the restaurant at Mingarry Park - expensive but delicious.

A much looked forward to two weeks holiday which we throughly enjoyed 😉.Gorgeous cottage in a Gorgeous quiet setting near the mouth of the river Shiel.The cottage was even better than the photos showed on line.Eildah and Stewart were great friendly hosts offering great suggestions of places to visit.We went all over Ardnamurchan and over to Mull and Iona.The weather in late April and early May was gorgeous.

We've been here 5 or maybe 6 times now and we love it ..it's a couple of miles from the village centre which is full of everything you need . Village shop and post office. A public house a cafe. Even a car repair garage... It's our the way at the end of the road next to the owners farm but only see them if you need to or want to ..wildlife and mountains and the Shielfoot river .Absolutely love this place .
