Aviemore nestles in the heart of The Cairngorms National Park at the head of the Speyside Way and boasts a wonderful range of shops, restaurants and bars. The area also offers a very wide range of outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, mountain and quad biking, zip lining, climbing, hill walking plus a variety of watersports on nearby Loch Insh, Loch Morlich and the River Spey, to name just a few of the myriad of activities available. Take a trip on the Cairngorm Mountain Railway, visit the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre, Landmark Centre in nearby Carrbridge or take a trip to the Highland Wildlife Park at nearby Kingussie, all of which are within easy reach. About 12 miles from Kingussie, lies the Ardverikie Estate, which has been the setting for films including the BBC TV’s drama series ’Monarch of the Glen’, as well as the location for movies such as ’The Missionary’ and ’Mrs Brown’.

Lovely home from home. It had everything we needed for a relaxing few days away. Very peaceful location and private back garden. Location was great too and only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Aviemore. We would definitely stay again.

Over all very good stay. Only issues I would say the could use new knives as they were blunt and the knife sharpener didn’t work. Could also use newer frying pans. This is a very small complaint tho over all the property was amazing. This was our 2nd stay and we will def be back. Property management was spot on when we had any questions

We had a Fantastic holiday and the location is amazing. Few minor issues with the property . Not very clean, previous guest had left us to pick up their dog poo which was in plain sight of the lounge window. Our guest arrived to find the Bed was broken which we had to temporarily fix. TV in the main lounge is rubbish and the Oven is not great. light switch in one of the bedrooms was broken which is reported in the visitor book back in June . Despite these minor issues the property ticked all the boxes and we had a great time and the location is incredible and we loved the secure garden.
