Guests have consistently praised Birch Tree Cottage for its peaceful location, spaciousness, and stunning views. The property is noted for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped kitchen. Its proximity to Aviemore centre and local amenities, along with the added charm of wildlife sightings, make it a highly recommended stay.
Reviewers frequently mention the cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as 'very clean' and 'incredibly clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
The location is highly praised for its quiet setting, beautiful views, and convenience to Aviemore centre and local shops, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the beds and furniture comfortable and the cottage spacious. The presence of a wood burner adds to the cosy atmosphere.
The cottage is commended for being well-equipped, particularly the kitchen. However, one review suggests the need for some TLC, and another mentions the lack of basic provisions, slightly affecting the score.
While guests express overall satisfaction with their stay, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the owner, so it is not possible to score this category.

Accommodation was clean, warm and very comfortable. Great location to town centre. Communication with owner was very good. Excellent views of the Cairngorms from the lovely extension at the rear of the property. Great wood burning stove, and to top it all, we had heavy snow.😊 would certainly return.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a great location with lovely views, the area is very quiet. The house is more spacious than I expected going by the photos. We’ll definitely be back one day.
