Lovely chalet that had everything we needed for our stay. Within easy reach of shops and pubs as well as all the touristy things you could hope for in and around Aviemore. A great base for this family of five and one dog. Plenty of space for us all. A special word of thanks to the owners who allowed us to change dates late in the day due to a family bereavement. It is lovely to know there are still decent human beings out there.

Easy to find, at the end of town. Lovely views from the veranda. Owners kindly let us arrive 1 hour early agter a very long drive.Plenty of space for us and with the additional bedroom heaters was warm enough, despite -1c temps outside. Just some tweaks would have made this 5* for us. Larger bath towels and an additional hand towel. Seemed to be no sound for tv without using the sound bar which had no remote and a previous visitor was still signed into their Prime video account so we were unable to use our own in the evenings. Some deeper cleaning is needed as there were old sweetie wrappers behind beds and sticky grease on back of couch seats and a few cobwebs around.Overall a fantastic stay and we would stay here again and would recommend. Only the minor issues mentioned.

Gael Cham was a very good for our stay. Equipped with all you need lovely view of the Cairngorms can see the funicular railway on the mountain side on a clear moment.The one thing that lets it down are the beds and mattresses. My wife and I slept in the single beds and they creak loudly with that and an open coil spring mattress it makes for an uncomfortable night. Our friends had similar issues with the double bed. It probably doesn’t help as three of us work for a mattress and bed manufacturer and have high expectations If these were up graded to pocket mattresses with non creaking bases it would improve sleep. The rest of the accommodation is excellent.
