Mountain walking is a popular pastime in this area, and the incredible An Teallach range (10 miles) boasts some of the most impressive hikes and dramatic sights the UK has to offer. Summit Bidein a’ Ghlas Thuill (6.5 miles) to capture the very best snapshot of this remarkable mountain landscape. A short distance along the coast, discover Gruinard Beach (8.5 miles), a secluded spot offering sweeping views across to Gruinard Island, complete with crystal-clear waters, golden sand and fantastic rock pools.
This stand-alone croft cottage has a never-ending supply of charm, lovingly maintained with plenty of traditional features intact. Make your way into the dine-in kitchen, where appliances are neatly arranged around a central breakfast table. Savour meals in here or move into the lovely sitting room with a TV and open fire - a wonderful place to escape to with your feet up when day turns to night. The property’s family bathroom can be found on this floor, alongside a cosy single bedroom that’s perfectly suited to a younger guest. Steep, cottage-style steps lead up to a landing on the first floor, where two double bedrooms sit beneath slanted ceilings. These comfortable bedrooms feature plenty of storage space for unpacking throughout your stay.
