Pine Marten, was a great place to stay, the layout of the property was very good with plenty of space yo unwind at the end of the day, the beds where very comfortable and Pine Marten was lovely and warm and a great place to dry out my clothing and camera gear after what seemed like endless days in the rain. The lighting was excellent throughout, with plenty of options for low lighting to bright. The shower was probably the best one I have used in any rental accommodation, plenty of power and consistent flow of water.I did have a slight issue with water ingress during a particularly viscous storm one evening but the owner themselves came round a very short period after raising the issue and it was all sorted the next morning. They were very apologetic and could not have done more to help and resolve the issue. Exceptional.Location is great, very quiet, easy to find and only a short walk/drive to the local shops etc.Pine Marten is a perfect holiday rental property that I recommend whole heartedly.

we loved pine marten cottage, it's a great location, and got everything you need. the welcome basket was a lovely touch. the cottage was clean, cosy, and warm and had fantastic views of the mountains and the pine trees surrounding the cottage. the brecklet trail is at the end of road which we enjoyed walking. about a 10 minute walk to the Laroch pub and fish and chip shop. if I had to find anything negative about the place, it would be that we couldn't seem to change the temperature of the water in the shower, but it wasn't too hot or too cold, and the water presure was great.
