The picture window alone is enough to give this flat a five star review. We watched sunrises, sunsets, community rowing, oil rigs, fighter jets and harbour seals, all in a nice warm flat. Even though we had several sunny days, perfect for Autumn walking, we struggled to drag ourselves away. As ardent city dwellers it gave Edinburgh a run for its money in terms of walking distance to the cinema (4 slow minutes), the coffee shop on the harbour (3 slow minutes), and the Fishertown Inn (a whopping 8 slow minutes). If you want to leave the car behind there is even an excellent bus service to Inverness from early till late for just £2 each way - but really, why would you bother?

Cosy and neat apartment in impressive historic building with great sea views. Everything required to make a comfortable stay. Lots to see and do in Cromarty and very helpful to have guides and interesting books in the apartment to help explore.
