Fantastic place, charming cottage, despite the road and the railway line is really quiet and peaceful. The owner is nice and very communicative. The cottage is clean, fully equipped. There's everything you need and more. This stay was our second in this cottage and we are just as delighted as the first time. I highly recommend it and hope to return there again in a while.

Lovely, warm comfortable base to travel around the North of Scotland. Out through the day sightseeing most of Scotlands main attractions, walking trails, beaches and waterfalls but the cottage and hot tub a very welcoming place to return to and rest. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return in the future.

We (couple, 32 and 28) first stayed in the Sluice Keeper's Cottage in 2020 and had always been keen to return. This October we managed to do so, this time with a dog in tow! The cottage was perfect for our needs, being just off the A9 but still managing to feel secluded. The cottage really felt like a home away from home, the log burner and hot tub were particular highlights after long days walking!
