Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet. .  Electric central heating, electric heater, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.  Initial logs for wood burner included.  Welcome pack. .  Courtyard garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture.  Bike store.  Private parking for 2 cars.  No smoking. .  Oystercatcher is a traditional stone fishing cottage, adjacent to the owners’ home, situated just yards from the stunning sandy bay of Embo in picturesque Sutherland.  This pretty terraced cottage has been in the same family since it was built in the 1900’s.  It has been refurbished and now provides warm, welcoming accommodation in a quiet lane that leads directly onto the beach.  The living room is attractively presented, whilst the kitchen/dining room is located at the rear of the cottage.  It is bright and modern with built-in units and very well equipped.  The back door leads out to a lovely courtyard garden with garden furniture.  Upstairs there are three bedrooms, all prettily presented, sleeping up to five guests.  A modern family sized bathroom completes the picture. 

Embo is a small, mainly stone village that historically looks to the sea for its livelihood.  These days the wide sandy beach with pretty small harbour is popular with visitors wishing to enjoy the totally unspoilt seaside location.  There is a small village store, and from Easter to October the nearby holiday site has the facilities of a restaurant and bar which is open to all.  There is . . .
