Enjoying a cosy open fire, this traditional cottage in beautiful surroundings is just 500 yards to shops and pubs.. Occupying a marvellous setting, with all main windows overlooking Gairloch Bay to the magnificent Torridon Mountains and the Isle of Skye beyond, this traditional stone cottage and its large natural garden is only 1½ miles (approx) from Gairloch beach. With sheep grazing close by, its setting is quiet, yet well placed for visiting the village’s pier and harbour, playing a round of golf on the 9-hole course, and exploring the beauty of the surrounding area. Ideal base for hill walking. Swimming pool and Inverewe Tropical Gardens at Poolewe, 6 miles. Shops and pub approximately 500 yards.. 3 steps to entrance.

Ach-Na-Clachan is outstanding not only the property but also the location and surrounding area. We have holidayed in property's on the West coast of Scotland from Scourie to Port Patrick and this property is up with the best. One very small grumble is the absence of any form of garden furniture ( I overlooked packing our folding chairs). Having said that, we have already booked our return next year. The weather was **** but it did not detract from the beauty of the region, in fact, on some days it seemed to enhance it.
