Bay Cottage is a single storey detached cottage situated in a quiet backwater overlooking Gairloch Bay. Attractively presented throughout, it provides an ideal self catering base for couples wishing to explore this beautiful and renowned area of the Highland west coast. The accommodation is mainly open plan. The pretty lounge area is separated from the modern, well equipped kitchen by a breakfast bar. There is a warm and cosy double bedroom and bright, modern bathroom with shower. Bay Cottage is very conveniently situated in the tiny hamlet of Charleston, overlooking the bay and opposite Gairloch harbour. There is a thriving local inn just 1/4 mile from the cottage. It is also just a short walk to the harbour. Along the pier there are a selection of small shops, a cafe and post office. There are a number of excellent sea and wildlife boat trips that can be booked from the harbour, as well as sea fishing trips and excursions in a glass bottom boat.

As keen walkers this is an excellent location for short and long walks, coast and mountain. Bay cottage was warm, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Nice cafes in the area.

Lovely clean comfortable cottage. Photographs need updated as there is now a tree blocking the view to the water and bay.Parking area very tight but you should be able to park just up from the cottage. House at end being worked on so a very full skip with lots of rubbish on it.Cafe at golf club does great food as does the Old Inn .Gardens at Inverewe well worth a visit.The beach is so clean and water so clear.There is a dog in the house opposite that barks a great deal of the time, seems to be put out in morning about 8am and about 10pm at night, it also whines during the day.
