The cottage is very cosy and clean. Very well maintained. It's value for money. It's only few minutes walk from local convenience store. The owner is very kind, he phoned me the day before arriving to warn me about the road potholes and upcoming storm. Very much appreciated that.

Utterly depressing experience staying here for 4 nights. We couldn’t wait to leave. Very poorly equipped, the main bedroom could not be used due to the unpleasant damp and musty smell. We aimed to stay out as long as possible through the day as we did not want to stay at the cottage more than needed. Very dated heating system, no upstairs bathroom, damp and musty smell throughout. “Dining table” was a drop leaf affair with folded up chairs. We had to put this all away after dining in order to get out of the room. I really do not understand how this place can command such high prices. We were shocked, disappointed and felt like we couldn’t unpack our things whilst staying there as the place was so inhospitable. We are now in a far superior cottage for a further week and the contrast could not be greater. The cottage needs a lot of upgrading to be anywhere near acceptable. We would not recommend this cottage at all.
