Guests find the cottage very comfortable, with a spacious living room and well-appointed bedrooms. However, one guest mentioned the double bed was smaller than their preference, suggesting a slightly lower score for comfort.

The property is praised for its well-equipped kitchen and the luxury of a real fire. The presence of double-glazed windows to minimise noise from the adjacent train track also indicates good maintenance. One review mentions a welcoming hamper, indicating thoughtfulness in hosting. However, as gifts are not consistently mentioned and are not guaranteed, the score reflects this.

Excellent 4 bedroom house in Glenfinnan. 2 double bedrooms with en-suite & 2 twin rooms. Very well equipped kitchen & spacious comfy living room with real fire, though as well insulated new house with good central heating not needed, a luxury.Steam train passes by behind house so great view. Adjacent train track not intrusive as good double glazed windows. Plenty of parking space & walking distance down pavements to station, viaduct & visitors centre & loch Sheil (freshwater so great for paddleboarding & swimming). Glenfinnan hotel is very close couple minutes walk which has public bar & restaurant. Only downside for me was we are used to king size bed so a double bed seemed uncomfortable & too small. Overall would definitely recommend.
