Situated in the heart of the countryside, this charming cottage provides a delightful base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands. The property is located in Grantown-on-Spey which is a Highland location with an abundance of outdoor opportunities for families and individuals who are looking to experience the great outdoors, Scottish style. The rural setting coupled with the cosy cottage atmosphere combines to create the ultimate relaxing retreat.
The property has been decorated in a traditional cottage style with comfortable features that will really make you feel at home.
On the ground floor, you will find the lounge which has comfortable sofas and an open fire - what better way to enjoy your evenings than curled up with your family in the warmth? There’s also a TV and DVD player to keep the children happy during the evening. The dining area is separate and can comfortably seat six guests at the table, a perfect spot for family meals. As well as a shower and WC there is a conservatory, the highlight of the ground floor. This cosy little space has plenty of seating and boasts gorgeous views of the Cromdale Hills. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and a bathroom and WC.
Outside spaces are a valuable part of a holiday experience and the garden in this cottage does not disappoint. The outdoor garden is large enough for your family and two dogs to enjoy and the highlight is most definitely the Highland views. Just simply sitting and absorbing the atmosphere can be a wonderfully relaxing experience and you may even spot the local wildlife.
