Guests say

Farr Cottage in Helmsdale is praised for its peacefulness, stunning views, and wildlife. Guests enjoy the cosy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and the joy of feeding birds. While some mention the need for upgrades, the charm and tranquillity of the location seem to captivate visitors, many of whom express a desire to return.

Most guests found the cottage clean and comfortable, though one mentioned pet hair, suggesting occasional lapses. Overall, the standard of cleanliness appears satisfactory.

The location is highly praised for its fabulous views, quietness, and proximity to nature, with frequent wildlife sightings and scenic surroundings.

Guests find the beds extremely comfortable and the living areas cosy. However, a few remarks about a cold toilet and the need for some upgrading slightly affect the comfort score.

The cottage is well-equipped, with a good shower and necessary amenities. Some guests note the need for modernisation and minor maintenance issues, such as a TV turning on by itself.

While guests enjoy feeding birds and watching wildlife, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so this category cannot be scored.
