This timber faced property was built in 2019 and sits in an elevated position overlooking Loch Dunvegan with views towards the castle. The property has a modern open plan living space taking full advantage of the outstanding views. The ground floor has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, living room with a wood burner and an open plan staircase to the first floor. There is also a separate shower room on the ground floor and the owner has thoughtfully provided complimentary toiletries. On the first floor is the comfortable master bedroom with a huge picture window overlooking the loch, a second double bedroom and a stunning bathroom. The property sits in a great sized plot and is ideal for guests wanting to escape and experience the rural lifestyle of Skye. It is ideal for walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts or people just wanting peace and quiet. Beach 1 mile. Shop and pub 5 miles, restaurant 1 mile.

    We had a wonderful holiday at Lochliath. The location has spectacular views, the house was spotlessly clean, and furnished with great equipment, warm and very comfortable.

    We were so impressed with the house from the minute we arrived - so warm and welcoming with stunning views. We loved the view to the Cullins from the huge window in the bedroom. We loved the stove with a great supply of logs. We loved the well equipped kitchen for cooking all sorts of meals (several restaurants not open in Feb and driving is essential). Everything we needed for a comfortable holiday was provided. The TV was great for watching Winter Olympics and the WiFi worked perfectly.

    House and location perfect for a quiet holiday - everything provided that we needed, everything spotlessly clean and owner really helpful with information and making sure we had a good time. I marked down local amenities simply because it was January and most places were closed but we expected nothing else and went prepared - it didn't stop us from having an excellent break. Highly recommended
