Many activities including climbing in the Cuillin Mountains, fishing, water sports and biking to name a few. Shops and pubs 500 yards.

Our 2cnd visit to Waterside, perfect for us sea kayakers.Conservatory was hot in the sunshine and a nice garden for drying clothes and evening drink in the sunshine.Sunset on the shingly beach looking towards the bridge wad good

Waterside Cottage is in an ideal position to explore the Skye and Lochalsh, being just off the Skye Bridge. The views are spectacular all round and there are some good local walks. There are few amenities in the village, though there are a few eating places. The local Coop is only 2 miles away in Kyle of Lochalsh, along with a variety of small shops and a railway station with parking. (We took the train about noon - 2½ hours or so to Inverness, returning around 6pm, arriving in Kyle about 8.30pm. A beautiful journey - I thoroughly recommend it!).The cottage is very well equipped with pretty much every kitchen gadget you could ever need (even an air frier). It is spotlessly clean from top to bottom and very comfortable and homely, if a bit shabby in places. The downstairs bedroom is fitted for disabled access with a wet room ensuite and plenty of room in the bedroom.We were able to park easily on the road outside, but there is a side gate to the garden which could allow access if necessary. We would be happy to return another time.

És una caseta a l'entrada de l'illa només pasar el pont, la qual cosa ens va venir molt bé perquè vam arribar més tard del que pensàvem i ja era de nit. No li falta detall, està neta, és espaiosa i està en una zona molt tranquila a la vora de la mar. les vistes són espectaculars. No hi ha cap problema per aparcar.
