Poolewe 3 miles. This charming Poolewe cottage is situated in the friendly hamlet of Inverasdale on the shore of beautiful Loch Ewe, and provides breathtaking panoramic sea and mountain views. This lovely Poolewe cottage allows guests to gaze out to sea and enjoy the ever-changing and spectacular landscape of the West Highlands. Within a few yards of this Poolewe cottage is a small jetty, ideal if you wish to bring your dinghy or canoe for a day on the loch, or if you prefer, you can stay on dry land and look out over the water, perhaps spotting a seal or otter, or maybe even a low-flying eagle. This Poolewe cottage will not disappoint with its modern and tasteful interior, and a cosy, comfortable feeling throughout. Ideal for a family or group of friends, this Poolewe cottage is a great base for those that like to get out and about, exploring the local attractions and making the most of the wonderful area surrounding the cottage. After long, exciting days, spend cosy evenings around the dining table, tucking into a delicious meal and making the most of your Poolewe self-catering cottage, before heading to bed as the sun sets over the horizon. There is plenty to do within easy reach of your Poolewe cottage; nearby is a lovely sandy beach, along with the famous Inverewe Garden, which is recognised as some of the finest gardens in Europe with a plant collection of international importance. Cove is nearby, home to WWII sites of historic importance, Gairloch is approximately 8 miles away, with a variety of amenities, a lovely beach and a harbour offering boat trips, while the town of Ullapool is approximately one hour away, with ferries to the Western Isles. With walks to enjoy and mountains to climb, birds to watch and towns and villages to visit, a special holiday awaits you!
