Dingwall 7 miles. Situated in Wester Urray near Muir of Ord, Scotland, is this lovely semi-detached house, Wester. Ideally located for exploring the Highlands and surrounding towns and villages, Wester is a superb pet-friendly choice for couples or a family of four. Upon arrival, you will find off-road parking for two cars, as well as a large rear enclosed garden with dining furniture and barbecue, perfect for dining alfresco whilst your canine companions safely play. Within the property, you will find a well-equipped kitchen/diner for rustling up tasty dishes, and a sitting room with plush sofas and a Smart TV with Netflix and Prime, perfect for relaxing movie nights with loved ones. Completing the ground floor is a handy cloakroom for your convenience. Continue up to the first floor, where a well-appointed shower room and two beautifully decorated bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, await. Your local amenities can be found in Dingwall, where you can dine at The Mallard, stock-up on essentials at the supermarket, picnic in Pefferside Park, and tour Dingwall Museum. Continue on to Strathpeffer, home to the excellent Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club, the Highland Museum of Childhood, Strathpeffer Pump Room and the nearby wildlife rich RSPB Tollie Red Kites. Next stop is the bustling city of Inverness, where you can visit the magnificent 19th-century Inverness Cathedral, embark on a boat trip to spot the dolphins which frequent the shores, leisurely strolls through the Merkinch Local Nature Reserve, the indoor Victorian Market, and the 18th-century Old High Church. Dingwall, located near the mouth of the Cromarty Firth, has a long history that dates back to the Norse era. With its pedestrianised main street, the town has a wide variety of cafes and boutiques, as well as a wide variety of services and facilities. To learn more about the history of Dingwall, why not take a one-and-a-half-hour walk along the Dingwall Heritage Trail? A short drive from Dingwall is the historic spa town of Strathpeffer, where you can catch a glimpse of the Moray Firth Dolphins leaping into the air. The rspb Tollie red kites natural reserve is also close enough to Inverness for day outings to Inverness Castle, trampoline park, Inverness Botanic Gardens, and the many shops on the city's streets.
