The stay was absolutely tranquil and lovely. We arrived really late but the lining of the road and parking with kids toys was brilliant. The scenery surrounding the Lodge is so pretty and relaxing. You can see squirrels walking around and rabbits as well. The Lodge itself is lovely, wooden floors make it so charming. The kitchen os so well stocked as are the other amenities. The beds were so comfy. There is a games cupboard which has maps and guides for all the walks, trails, and castles around. The bool section at the Lodge is brilliant. I only skimmed through a few and they added to my experience of scotland. The Lodge has a bunch of DVDs, including a laurel and hardy one - which my daughter did not want to watch much to my chagrin, but the library is stacked. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back in a couple of years.
