Guests say

Clunymhore in Nethy Bridge is a well-regarded cottage, praised for its peaceful surroundings and stunning local scenery. Guests enjoy the wildlife, including red squirrels and woodpeckers, and appreciate the helpful caretaker. The property is comfortable, warm, and ideally located for exploring the Scottish Highlands, with local shops supplying most needs.

The property is generally described as clean, but there was a mention of a cooker hob needing cleaning and dog poo in the garden, suggesting minor oversights.

The location is highly praised for its tranquility, proximity to local amenities, and access to stunning walks and wildlife, making it an excellent base for exploring the Cairngorms.

Guests find the cottage very comfortable and warm, even in colder weather, suitable for both short and longer stays.

Facilities are generally good, but there were issues with a blocked fire exit, lack of logs for the fire, and the need for better property-finding instructions.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so a score cannot be provided.

Very comfortable for us three. Quiet peaceful surroundings. Clean. Lots to do locally. Lots of stunning scenery within a short drive although you can do pleasant walks from the cottage to the nearest loch through Caledonian forest. It’s a great place to experience the Scottish Highlands.
