Lovely, homely place in a beautiful part of Scotland with a decent bus service to connect to many places accessing the mountains. Lots of gorgeous local walks to do too. Food at nearby Nethybridge Hotel is delicious and the staff are fantastic. Local shop has everything you could want and there is an honesty box that does yummy bakes not far down the road. The back garden of the house is basically the forest with a wee fence more to keep the humans away from the wildlife than the other way round. Among our visitors were voles, hedgehogs, badgers and so many beautiful birds including crested tits. There are bird feeders to encourage visitors. There is also a real fireplace (although we didn't use it). Kitchen well appointed and house easy to clean. Living room is a very decent size with a lovely dining table and French doors opening out onto the garden/ forest. This place suited our needs as walkers and wildlife lovers perfectly. Would return again and again.

It is the perfect location to enjoy birdwatching & walking. You don't even have to leave the house to enjoy birds at every feeder around the house. Nethy Bridge has everything you need for an enjoyable break.
