With the dramatic backdrop of the often snowcapped Cairngorm mountains and hundreds of acres of Abernethy Forest (rspb owned) Nethy Bridge spans the lower reaches of the River Nethy a mile before it reaches the River Spey, one of Scotland’s foremost salmon rivers. Outdoor activities include, fishing, tennis, bowling, golf, walking and skiing in winter. Shops and pub 1/2 mile.

It is the perfect location to enjoy birdwatching & walking. You don't even have to leave the house to enjoy birds at every feeder around the house. Nethy Bridge has everything you need for an enjoyable break.

The good : Great location. Peace & quiet. Great bird life in the garden which you can watch from the living room. Nice & warm with real fire. Everything you could want in the kitchen. The bad : wardrobe could do with a clean, clothes came out dirtier than they went in. Sofas & double bed uncomfortable.

Lovely, homely, warm and comfy. Bed was unbelievably comfortable. Nice to have a fire. Back garden space small, but gorgeous and looking out into the Abernethy forest. Loved all the bird feeders which we filled up, then we're delighted to have hundreds of wee visitors including wee fat robins, every variety of tit including crested, a woodpecker and so many more. Area pretty well serviced by public transport and lots of interconnected paths in the area, so able to have lots of days without driving. Food at the Nethy Bridge Hotel a short walk away was delicious.
