The cottage is nestled in the sleepy township of Ose, which lies on the west coast of the Isle of Skye between Dunvegan and Struan. The wildlife in this area is extensive and a track leads from the main gate down to the shore where seals, otters and sea eagles can be seen. The village of Dunvegan is 7 miles away and has independent shops, Skye s oldest bakery, restaurants, an art gallery and gift shops. Explore Dunvegan Castle and Gardens or enjoy a walk down to the Coral Beach in Claigan, just north of Dunvegan by another 5 miles. The island's capital of Portree is 14 miles away and has a selection of supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants and excellent leisure facilities including the Fingal Centre with a swimming pool and gym. On entering this beautiful home, step into the handy porch where you can hang up your coats and kick off your boots after a long walk.
