Guests say

Greshornish Boathouse offers a tranquil setting with stunning loch views, ideal for a peaceful retreat. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere and the property's potential, despite noting some areas in need of attention and maintenance.

Several reviews mention issues with cleanliness, including dog hairs, dust, and mould. However, not all reviews mention cleanliness problems, suggesting experiences may vary.

The location is praised for its beautiful views and peacefulness, though some guests note the proximity to a fish farm and the condition of the access road as drawbacks.

Guests find the property cosy and the views relaxing, but some have raised concerns about the bed comfort, shower suitability for tall people, and seating arrangements.

The facilities receive mixed feedback, with some guests satisfied with the amenities, while others report maintenance issues such as broken shower-heads, lighting, and kitchen extractor problems.

There is insufficient information regarding thoughtful touches such as gifts, and no reviews mention them, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The track to the boat house was full of large potholes, the fish farm has maintenance yards on each side of the boat house with a large floating pontoon directly in front of the boat house with up to five boats operating from there, pictures on your site need updated.

The view from the living room window is fantastic. The kitchen is well stocked. Yes the road is awful to get to the Boathouse but after a couple of runs you get used to it and know you have to take your time. The shower doesn’t have the greatest power but is lovely and hot. The rooms are spacious. Overall I would recommend the Boathouse as a great base for exploring Skye and also a good place to chill away from everything.

The view of the Loch from the window was amazing with a spot of Otter spotting every day.
