A stunning detached cottage in a scenic setting commanding fabulous sea and mountain views, situated in the friendly crofting township of Kensaleyre, seven miles Portree on the magical Isle of Skye. This wonderful Skye cottage is luxuriously appointed throughout and is ideal for families or groups of friends who wish to explore this beautiful island. Set on one level, this Portree cottage offers three spacious bedrooms with one having en-suite facilities, and it also boasts a large open plan living area with well-equipped kitchen/breakfast bar, a dining area with French doors opening out onto the patio and two comfortable sitting areas, one with a woodburning stove and one with leather reclining chairs from where you can admire the fabulous views.
The delightful patio at the front of this Portree cottage is a perfect spot to enjoy alfresco dining or an early evening glass of wine, whilst you await a wonderful sunset! This Skye cottage is ideally located just 7 miles from the vibrant capital town of Portree and also 7 miles from the ferry port and pretty village of Uig. From your Skye cottage follow the road around the top of the Trotternish Peninsula, passing through an array of pretty crofting townships and Staffin with its lovely sandy beach. Alternatively stop off at the dramatic Quiraing mountain range, for a day's walking in the unspoilt beauty that the Isle of Skye is famed for.

Beautifully located with tremendous views across the loch and an ideal base to explore this wonderful part of Skye. Remote yet only 10 minutes from the excellent Coop and all the facilities of Portree. The cottage is very modern, extremely comfortable, well laid out with a magnificent kitchen diner that flows through to a spacious lounge with log fire and further sitting area with windows on 3 sides to relax and enjoy the views. It has all the appliances, kitchen and dining facilities you could ever wish for, all of top quality. The owner lives nearby and is quickly available if needed and very caring. This was our second of we hope many future visits.
