Had a wonderful stay at Wavecrest for our honeymoon. The location is of course amazing. I have been to Wavecrest a couple of times before with my family when I was little, so being back brought back lots of great memories. In the cold weather in November, it is important to realise that you will spend quite some money on electricity additional to the weekly price, but this is still absolutely worth staying in this unique holiday cottage. We will definitely be back!

The cottage is lovely but not obvious that will get cut off if you don’t go to the shop and pay for electric on prepayment card. Never had that in many years of holiday cottsges. Alsowrong instructions left about reconnecting so had to phone power supplier. Got stuck here for extra day and housekeeper incredibly un sympathetic when got told that just as was about to vacate. She more or less threw us out saying she had to Jean and we should sit in the car during storm Amy. We only needed a few extra minutes in the kitchen to work out what to do. So a holiday spoilt tbh and no comment from the owner about it. A real shamme. A little kindness would have been appreciated.
