We loved Tain! We are golfers so it was a good base for us, played Golspie, portmahomack, bonar bridge and fortrose. The cottage was extremely comfortable. 3 bedrooms, but only one bathroom, an extra loo would make it perfect.Kitchen was very well equipped. Living room and dining area were comfortable. Beds were great. Shower was powerful enough!Unfortunately our weather was dreadful and we were a bit early for the area opening up after winter, but we did get the museums at Tarbet, tain and Dornoch. Tain is very well served by supermarkets and we used Lidl, Asda, tesco and Home BargainsWe ate in a lot, but did have a meal out in Greens which was excellent and a takeaway.Would happily recommend
